Christopher Dunlap may appear to be your typical health care worker, but in reality he is the BadAssBard! This triple threat cosplayer can literally do it all: dance, sing, act, and build! So that technically makes him a quadruple threat!

Chris got his start in the cosplay scene all the way back in 2004 as a cast member of the very first METROCON Anime Human Combat chess match as Heero Yuy. Since then he has only gotten bigger and bolder in his stage performances. He is a multiple time Best in Show performance in cons throughout Florida. He’s even taken two best in show awards at METRO in the same year!

His acting and performance abilities are matched by his costume construction abilities. Not limited to any one form, Chris can sew, foam craft, carpentry, work leather, and just about anything else it takes to make a costume. He’s done everything from full suits of armor to fine stitching.

When he isn’t acting on stage or in a costume contest, Chris is probably working the convention scene professionally as a staff member or hosting panels. You might recognize his as Valor, one of the METROCON Guardian mascots and a member of Nerds Know, the premiere panel entertainment group of South Florida.
