Dr. Alyse N. Steves received her Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Emory University. An expert in genetics, molecular biology, and cell/ stem cell biology and regeneration, Alyse is currently serving as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California San Diego. Alyse is an internationally acclaimed indie author, with her first science fiction novel, Child of Humanity, making its debut in August 2016. Outside of science and writing, Alyse is an avid traveler who also enjoys the company of her family, friends, and pets.
