Robert is known as the original costumed character of Snorky in The Banana Splits television series (NBC 1968 - 1970).

Robert is also known for his role as Karg in Masters of the Universe.

His other television credits include many animation voice overs such as the Doctor Dolittle television series and Kidd Video. The most important voice over role was his reprisal as Snoopy in the animated version of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, where viewers for the first time could hear Snoopy's thoughts and hear him sing.

Robert has also appeared on live-action programs such as SANTA BARBARA, STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, SAVED BY THE BELL, FRASIER, HANNAH MONTANA, ANGEL, BUNK'D, RAVEN'S HOME, VICTORIOUS, THE GHOST WHISPERER, ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, HOT IN CLEVELAND, WILL AND GRACE, and most recently the new PERRY MASON show for HBO.
