Mike Martinez is a Stuntman and Stunt Coordinator, whose specialties include, Driving Scenes, Fight Scenes, Fire Scenes, Wire Work and Visual Effects Stunt Work; and has Thirty years experience in Film, Commercial, and Live Presentations.

Driving - Mike has over Four Hundred film, commercials, running-footage, print, and live presentation credits; Including working with General Motors, Lexus, Toyota, Honda/Accura, and Chrysler as a Driver and Driving Coordinator at many Dealer Conferences, and Multiple Years of Presentations at the North American International Auto Show.

Fire Scenes - While working in the stunt industry during the very beginning of a new technique of Body Burns, Mike worked with many of the pioneers of Fire Stunts, and has performed and/or worked as Stunt and Safety Coordinator on over One Hundred Fire Scenes with complete cast and crew safety; personally performing over Fifty Body Burns, including performing burns during safety seminars for the California State Fire Marshal.

Wire Work - Since working Wire Work on such shows as Willow, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Indiana Jones Last Crusade, Mike went on to work as Stunt Coordinator for the flying scenes on Disney's Angels in the Outfield, and has become known as a Wire Coordinator and Stunt Rigger; often being called by other Stunt Coordinators when Wire Work and Stunt Rigging is involved; also being asked to provide Specialty Rigging for "Live" Circus performances, and the Illusion Arts.

Visual Effects Stunts - Along with the fore mentioned Willow, Indiana Jones, Roger Rabbit, and Angels in the Outfield, Mike has worked as Stunt Performer and/or Stunt Coordinator on numerous films, commercials, and video games involving Blue/Green screen, wire work, motion capture, or all three. Just a few of the games are three years of the "John Madden Football" Game, 2000 through 2003, playing James Bond-(Motion Capture)--in the game, "From Russia With Love", and Stunt Coordinator for the film based, "Enter the Matrix".

Taking of photographs and the use of recording devices in the screening and panel room (Grand Ballroom, Level 4) is strictly prohibited. Attendees, members of the media and all other individuals may not record or photograph in this room at any time without express written permission from Texas Frightmare Weekend. This includes panels, Q&A's, movie screenings and any other event taking place in this room. Anyone caught filming movies will be escorted from the show.

Additionally, All schedules are posted approximately 2-3 weeks prior to the event. In most cases, the schedule is not posted any earlier due to continuing guest additions. If schedules were posted earlier, they would be invalid by the time the event approaches. Dates and times subject to change without notice. Seating for all panels and screenings are limited and buying a ticket to the convention does not guarantee seating. Panels and screenings are usually not full and have plenty of empty seats. However, some may be very popular and fill up very quickly. We reserve the right to clear the room prior to any screening or panel to make sure that attendees waiting in line are able to be seated. Please do not sit in on a panel prior to the one you really want to see to try and hold a seat(s). Plan your attendance accordingly.
