Kamrin Carver

Kamrin Carver is the Clinical Director for Brighton Recovery Center in Ogden Utah. He has been involved with the addiction and recovery community since 2012. His specialization in Sex Addiction, Trauma & Codependency have helped to develop a substantial number of presentations and programs which have been delivered to diverse audiences across the country. Kamrin completed his undergraduate studies in Social Work at Weber State University and his graduate work in Marriage & Family Studies at Argosy University. His post graduate efforts were facilitated by the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals. Kamrin went on to receive his advanced training in EMDR, The Gottman Sound Relationship House, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) & is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). Kamrin’s experience has included working within an array of settings inclusive of inpatient hospitalization, emergency psychiatric care, substance abuse treatment centers, residential treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient for both the adolescent and adult populations. Kamrin has a passion for creating positive change in the lives of people who suffer from trauma and co-occurring addictive disorders. Kamrin is a father of 3 and is an avid yogi and meditator; he brings this mindfulness into both his private and organizational practices.
