RUDY FLORES is the co-creator of the Army Man Project. The project was a 300 person community project featuring 3D scanned and 3D printed Tucsonians as army men figures in poses representing their hobby or profession. The project also included bands such as Mastodon, Melvins, Dead Cross and YOB.
Rudy recently collected the first volume of his original creature concepts called the Book of Beasts. The collection includes characters from Rudy’s current projects as well as concept art for future projects and band art.
Rudy has also illustrated images for a project called a Little Tucson Book. The project consist of 24 children’s book covers that pay homage to life in Tucson.
When he isn’t illustrating Rudy produces toys from his character concepts.
