Mattie is a self-taught Painter/Illustrator and is best known for his award winning astronomical-scifi art and fan art sketches. He is an Artists Member of The International Association of Astronomical Artists, and he currently works as a freelance artist and recently had his work published in The Art of Space by Ron Miller.
