Matthew Wood

Matthew Wood is a sound engineer and voice actor, best known for his role as General Grievous in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series, and in many Star Wars video games and other media. He was a supervising sound editor on Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: Episode VIII. He is the voice of RO-GR/Roger, a reprogrammed battle droid in Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, as well as Stormtrooper #1 and IG-86. Matt is the supervising sound editor on Star Wars Rebels.

For the last 15 years, he has worked on numerous film projects, his work being credited as sound editing and sound design. He has been an innovative force within the industry, pioneering new technologies for motion picture sound. He is currently a Supervising Sound Editor employed at Skywalker Sound.

He has sound department credits on Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: Battlefront, Guardians of the Galaxy, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Armageddon, Titan A.E., There Will Be Blood, and much more!
