Margaret Kerry is the original Tinker Bell and the Red-Headed Mermaid in Walt Disney's 1953 animated feature Peter Pan! Walt Disney chose Margaret while searching for a nimble mime/dancer/actor to be filmed performing live-action work as a reference model for the tiny Tinker Bell in Peter Pan. Famed animator Marc Davis drew Tinker Bell's antics based on Margaret's acting. She also performed the voice of the red-headed mermaid in the movie. In the 1960’s Kerry provided voices for the groundbreaking children's television show, Clutch Cargo, including characters Paddlefoot and Spinner. She provided numerous voices and live-action lead-ins for The New Three Stooges and Space Angel animated series.
