Andrea Barbosa is an award winning novelist and poet who took creative writing classes at Texas Tech University and maintains an indie review blog. She was a contributor on Yahoo Contributor Network and Yahoo! Voices websites. Her work has been influenced by contemporary authors Paulo Coelho, Fernando Sabino, Sylvia Plath, Erica Jong and Joyce Carol Oates, among others. Andrea currently serves as Author Event Director for the Houston Writers Guild.
