"In 1997, Deborah L. Davitt earned a BA in english from UNR, focusing on medieval and Renaissance literature. In 1999, she received an MA in english from Penn State. She’s taught composition, rhetoric and technical writing, and worked on documentation for nuclear submarines, NASA and computer hardware. In 2014, she published The Valkyrie, followed by its sequel, The Goddess Denied, in 2015. She currently lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband and son.
