Larry “the Gryphon King” Dixon is among the finest black-and-white fantasy illustrators in America. Larry is a modern Renaissance man, having been a successful firefighter, comic, race car driver, falconer, raptor rehabber, editor, stormspotter, concept artist, charity worker and novelist. Larry’s well-known knack with raptors led to his work on the LOTR and Hobbit films as Weta’s Great Eagles expert. He’s also worked in the roleplaying games field since the 1970s. Larry is very approachable and well-connected, and he loves to treat fans wonderfully.
