Mercedes “Misty” Lackey is famed for the Heralds of Valdemar, Elemental Masters, Secret World Chronicles, Elvenbane, SERRAted Edge and Diana Tregarde Investigates book series, with many standalones and countless short stories. So far, she has sold around 8 million books and counting. Misty lives in northeast Oklahoma with her co-writer Larry Dixon, where they work very hard as writers and also do volunteer work from their parrot-, peacock- and hot rod-enriched rural complex.
