Roy Knyrim created the gory effects for the second and third Toxic Avenger films. Following that, he worked on productions like The Abyss and Ed Wood. His makeup effects are also on display in dozens of films, including Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies, Halloween II: Kalabar's Revenge, Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and the upcoming features Tooken and 6 Miranda Drive. He also recently signed on to a new hour-long series based on the movie franchise Friday the 13th. Roy also became a star playing himself in SyFy's 2011 reality show Monster Man.
