Oscar Rios

Oscar Rios is an author, editor and publisher of horror fiction and role playing scenarios for the Call of Cthulhu RPG. He has written over seventy five Call of Cthulhu scenarios for Chaosium (Atomic Age Cthulhu, Horror on the Orient Express, and the campaign Ripples from Carcosa), a Miskatonic River Press (New Tales of the Miskatonic Valley, More Adventures in Arkham Country, Tales of the Sleepless City, and the campaign The Legacy of Arrius Lurco), Stygian Press (The Things We Leave Behind), and his own company, Golden Goblin Press (Island of Ignorance-The Third Cthulhu Companion, Tales of the Crescent City-Adventures in Jazz Era New Orleans, De Horrore Cosmico, and Tales of the Caribbean). His work also appeared in The Unspeakable Oath and World of Cthulhu magazine, as well as Yog-Sothoth.com and Shoogoth.net. He is also a fiction author with short stories in Cthulhu’s Dark Cults, Horror for the Holidays, and Undead and Unbound. In 2013 Oscar founded Golden Goblin Press, a Chaosium licensee, which produces RPG supplements for the Call of Cthulhu game line and horror fiction titles, such as Tales of Cthulhu Invictus and Dread Shadows in Paradise. At his core Oscar remains an avid gamer, running and playing Call of Cthulhu whenever possible.
