Denver COMIC Con takes on a new meaning, as comedy writer and stand-up comedienne Eliza Skinner will be sharing her humor at DCC’s new Friday evening event, “Friday Night Funnies”! The LA based comic - who TimeOut LA & NY have described as "definitely one to watch" - is currently the head writer for Drop The Mic on TBS, and a frequent guest star on "Take My Wife". She was also a staff writer and performer on CBS's Late Late Show with James Corden, TruTV͛s Adam Ruins Everything, and FX's Totally Biased w/ W Kamau Bell. She has written and appeared in award-winning Funny Or Die videos - including "Mary Poppins Quits" and "Modern Office with Christina Hendricks". Eliza has headlined theaters, colleges, and festivals all over the country, and is also a frequent guest and fan favorite on podcasts like How Did This Get Made, Never Not Funny, Jordan Jesse Go, The Todd Glass Show, Spontaneanation, and Comedy Bang Bang. She is the host of her own podcast, “Cool Playlist”.
