Jason Ybarra

Jason started his acting /stunt career just 2 weeks after graduating high-school in 1994. Landing the roll of Baboo (one of Rita Repulsas minions) on the 2nd season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He was also the double for Rocky the Red Ranger. Jason wore many hats both in front of and behind the camera in the 10 years he was on the show.

Five years ago Jason built his TMNTVAN out of his love for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He took it to car shows and drove it around Los Angeles. In 2013 he found an artist that made life like Ninja Turtle cosplays based off of the 1990s live action movies. Upon purchasing these costumes Jason quickly branded his cosplay team as TMNTVAN. He found himself traveling all over the USA and Canada for the next 2 years. He and his cosplay team were guests at comic cons, special events, and private parties.

in February of 2014 Jason was hired to perform with Vanilla Ice in Dallas,TX at Jared’s Epic Party as a Ninja turtle for the first time in 20 years since the Secret of the Ooze came out. He performed with Vanilla Ice on the Today show and also at the TMNT 2 : Out of the Shadows premiere at Madison Square Garden.

Currently Jason is still filming TV shows and movies in Los Angeles. He is also on tour with Vanilla Ice as part of the “I Love the 90s Tour”. Jason can also be seen on season 7 of the Vanilla Ice Project on DIY channel.
