Carrie Fisher

Carrie Frances Fisher is an American actress, novelist, screenwriter and performance artist best known for her iconic portrayal of Princess Leia Organa in the original Star Wars trilogy. Her central role in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Episode VI – The Return of the Jedi created a legacy that has been preserved for more than three decades. She will reprise her role as Princess Leia in 2015 for Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.

Throughout her 35-year career, Carrie has displayed her versatile skill set by acting in a wide range of roles on television and the big screen, including her part as Marie in When Harry Met Sally…, guest appearances on Sex in the City, Frasier, Smallville, 30 Rock and recurring voice work on Family Guy.
