ZipperTan is an international artist, cosplayer, and costume designer based in Miami, Florida. She cosplayed at her first convention back in 2004, and she has been sewing costumes from scratch ever since. ZipperTan's cosplay wardrobe consists of over 40 handmade costumes, and she is planning to add at least three more by Animate! Miami 2014. She is most known for taking well-known characters and putting a creative spin on them.
ZipperTan has had the honor of being a Cosplay Guest and running the Costume Contests for many local South Florida conventions such as Animate! Miami, Florida SuperCon, PalmCon, Miami Hurricon, and Creator Owned Expo. ZipperTan will be hosting several panels and events at Animate! Miami, as well as acting as one of the judges for the costume competition. When ZipperTan isn't busy traveling to both local and out-of-state conventions, she enjoys meeting new people, reading, and playing video games.
