Erin Lilley Smith

Erin Lilley is a Gulf Coast actor, and a writer/producer with Fighting Owl Films. Since 2007, she has produced and appeared in numerous short and feature films that have screened in festivals throughout the country, and have enjoyed critical acclaim from publications including Fangoria and Ain't It Cool News. Fighting Owl's first feature film, The Night Shift, was named 2011 Best Fantasy Feature at Shockerfest International, and received North American distribution through R-Squared Films. Its follow-up short, Night of the Krampus, was First Runner-Up for the 2013 Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award for Best Short Film. In 2016, Fighting Owl's post-apocalyptic western, Crimson Blade, premiered at Phoenix Comicon, prior to being picked up by Shorts HD. It is set to air sometime in 2017. In addition to acting and producing, Erin served as co-writer on Fighting Owl's latest feature, Full Moon, Inc., which was recently completed, and is currently on the festival circuit and seeking distribution.

Off-camera, Erin has been a contributor to Indie Slate magazine and The Hindsight Letters, as well as a recurring blogger for Paranormal Pop Culture. She is also an accomplished classical singer and stage performer, having completed an internship with Mobile Opera, and additional training at The Voice Workshop in New York. Most notably, Erin toured the country as the "Beauty" in Beauty and the Beast, and was the 2011 Lagniappe "Nappie" Award winner for Best Area Singer. Erin lives in Mobile with her husband, Thomas Smith, Fighting Owl Films' writer, director, and founder.
