a PhD in Neuroscience from Caltech. I've been on a few shows targeting the general public (such as "How to Build... Everything" on Science Channel), or young women more specifically (such as "Xploration Fablab" on Fox), trying to foster interest and curiosity for STEM fields. Most recently, I worked as a staff writer on Bill Nye Saves the World, which is coming to Netflix on April 21st. I've volunteered with the Science and Entertainment Exchange, talking to writers about how they can integrate real science to improve their storytelling, and I'm a founding member of the Nerd Brigade: a group of scientists and science communicators working to make STEM more accessible.
