David Lizanetz started working as a professional artist after achieving a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Arizona State University. The talented author/illustrator is the creator behind The CANimated Critters book series. He also designed and published a coloring book featuring imaginative creatures and monsters. Recently, David was commissioned by the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury to write and illustrate a children’s book titled Tiny’s Big Shot. When David isn’t writing and illustrating, he explores other artistic avenues including screen-printing, woodblock printmaking and fine art painting. His unique paintings are in galleries across the globe, as well as the private collection of Wil Wheaton. The Phoenix Suns, Neiman Marcus, Vitamin Water, and Editions Limited have also featured his artwork.
