When Elite Supergirl was a little girl, she loved cartoons and superheroes. She would run around with the guys in her neighborhood acting like a ninja turtle or a G.I. Joe.
She she got a little older, she didn’t really have anyone who enjoyed the same things, so she got away from it. Once Elite Supergirl met her husband, she renewed her love for the world.
About nine years ago, with the help of her good friend William Binderup – the owner of Elite Comics – Elite Supergirl was born. William helped Elite Supergirl by giving her a chance to shine in cosplaying as, well, Supergirl.
She grew from there, expanding into every possible charitable outlet. Her first love was Children’s Mercy Hospital, and she continues with that today with monthly character visits.
If Elite Supergirl didn’t have the love and support of her amazing community, she would not be who she is today. She is one of many cosplayers who donate their time to charities, and is grateful for their help.
