Michael Kingston is best known as the writer/creator of the acclaimed wrestling drama, Headlocked. Funded through two ultra-successful Kickstarters and featured on WWE.com, The Fight Network, and Ain’t It Cool News. The story, featuring a teenager trying to break into the wrestling business, contains art and stories from a number of famous wrestlers, including Jerry Lawler, Shane Helms, Rob Van Dam, Booker T, John Morrison, Christopher Daniels, Ken Anderson, and AJ Styles.

Mike is the writer/creator of Headlocked. Ever since George The Animal Steele captured his imagination as an eight year old boy, he’s been in love with wrestling… in all its forms… from big arenas to high school gyms. And he’s had an equally passionate love affair with comics. Frustrated by the lack of good wrestling comics, he decided to write one himself. The result is Headlocked.
