PREVIEWSworld talks with artist Robert Wilson IV!
PREVIEWSworld: Who were your favorite artists growing up?
Robert Wilson: I thought Jim Lee was the god of comics (I also thought he was Stan Lee’s son). I was also really into Joe Mad.
PREVIEWSworld: Were you self-taught, formally educated, or a combination of both?
Robert Wilson: Mostly self taught, I did study art in college for a year though.
PREVIEWSworld: Talk about your studio environment. Do you watch or listen to anything while you draw?
Robert Wilson: I listen to tons of podcast, audio books, and music. Listening to Hugh Howey’s Wool at the moment. I’m always excited for The Best Show. My office is a spare bedroom in my house, it is an indescribable mess.
