Creator of Blood of Dragons, an art project exploring a draconic urban fantasy worlde
Tyler Walpole, a native of Des Moines, Iowa, has been a valued illustrator in the entertainment industry since the year 2000. He has a focus on fantasy, sci-fi, and superhero art. His clients include Marvel Entertainment, Warner Bros Animation, Marvel/Lionsgate, DC Comics, Blizzard, Wizards of the Coast, Paizo’s Pathfinder, IDW, and Dynamite Entertainment, among many others. His most widely seen work can be found almost anywhere in the form of licensed character images created directly for Marvel Studios. He has illustrated iconic images for every Marvel Studios movie since 2013. Those works include: Captain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Ant-Man. He has been working almost exclusively for Marvel for the last 2 and a half years, creating licensing art for the MCU. Some design work Tyler created appeared on screen in Ant-Man.
As a storyboard artist Walpole has created advertising for Wal Mart, Verizon, Subway, US Navy, Orlando Magic. He has rendered storyboards for Legion of Super Heroes, Wolverine and the X-Men, and the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 video game. As well he has created comicbook covers for Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance.
