Jason Mewes is best known as the talkative half of the Jay and Silent Bob duo. Jay is a staple in the View Askew Universe. His antics and say anything attitude have been featured in seven films and an animated series. The movies and cartoon he has stared in are: Clerks, Clerks II, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, and Clerks: The Animated Series.
Jason co-produced the 2013 animated movie Jay & Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie with his wife Jordan Monsanto. He, along with Kevin Smith, performed in the films Scream 3 and Bottoms Up. The duo have also appeared on Canadian television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. Mewes is co-hosting a weekly podcast with Kevin Smith called Jay & Silent Bob Get Old. Jason is also co-Executive Producer on Smith’s Hulu-exclusive series, Spoilers with Kevin Smith.
