Chantal Trazo

Chantal Trazo is a senior at Pioneer High School. She developed an interest in comics after her friends encouraged her to join their school's Comic Book Club sophomore year. Two years ago, she had no interest in comics, believing they were about clichés, predictable superheroes. She was proved wrong with the brilliant and creative comics shared with her. She is astounded by the variety of comics and their incredible stories, from heartbreaking historical memoirs to bold sci-fi adventures, and believes comics deserve the same appreciation as traditional novels taught in class and should be given a chance.
