Daniel Noah

DANIEL NOAH (Writer/Producer) is a screenwriter, director and producer who has worked on a diverse array of film, television and theater projects spanning multiple genres. Daniel grew up in a family of musicians several blocks from Chicago’s Wrigley Field, raised in part by his grandfather, a well-known jazz arranger around town. He is a graduate of the Dramatic Writing Program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied under veteran screenwriter Lorenzo Semple, Jr., author of Three Days of the Condor, Papillion and The Parallax View.

As a screenwriter, Noah has penned the adaptation of the comic book Shadowman for Dimension Films, as well as the Graham Greene adaptation, This Gun For Hire for Universal Pictures. He co-wrote the screenplay Believers (2007) for director Daniel Myrick (Blair Witch Project) for Warner Brothers’ successful Raw Feed series, as well as the screenplay forMcCanick, for director/partner/friend Josh Waller.

For television, Daniel has developed his pilot Hindsight for Imagine Entertainment and NBC; Jumper for Warner Brothers Television and The CW; Candy for Sony Pictures Television, ABC and director Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black); Limbo for Paramount Television and director David Semel (Heroes); Glass for Paramount Television and director Richard Shepard (Ugly Betty); and Wisdom for Warner Brothers Television, producer Dan Lin (Sherlock Holmes) and the CW.

Noah served as both writer and director of the upcoming Max Rose, starring the legendary Jerry Lewis, which made its premiere in the official lineup of the Cannes Film Festival.

In addition to his writing, directing and development duties for SpectreVision, Noah also serves as the Programming Director of SpectreFest, a citywide, multidisciplinary arts festival held annually in Los Angeles.
