Kyle Kurpinski

Kyle Kurpinski holds a joint PhD in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley/UCSF, and spends most of his time helping new technologies reach the market. He has worked in Silicon Valley for nearly a decade, first at medical device startup, then at the University of California, and currently as a Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives for the Tencent Exploration Team. He is also co-author of the humorous pop-science book, How to Defeat Your Own Clone (and other tips for surviving the biotech revolution) .
