Alex Hutchinson is currently Creative Director and Co-Founder of Typhoon Studios. Previously he was Creative Director on Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed III at Ubisoft Montreal, Army of TWO: The 40th Day at EA, as well as Lead Designer on games such as Spore and The Sims 2. Games he has directed have sold in excess of 30 million copies and picked up various trophies including the odd BAFTA and AIAS award. He has also spoken at everywhere from DICE to the design keynote at GDC Europe and written on games for magazines such as EDGE, gamesTM and PC Zone Originally from Australia, his ongoing quest for increasingly hostile climates means he currently lives in Montreal.
