John Ulmen

John Ulmen co-founded Boosted and leads engineering. John's engineering projects growing up include starting a radio station with his own equipment, building a hot air balloon, and turning his family's Christmas tree into a rocket. The original Boosted board prototype was a side project during his PhD program in robotics and engineering at Stanford, which he left in 2012 to start the company. He received a dual BS in mechanical and electrical engineering from Seattle University and a MS in mechanical engineering from Stanford.
