Jon Nagel

Jon Nagel has been a member of the 501st Legion since 2004. He’s served as Captain of the Guard of the Golden Gate Garrison for the past two years, and is now lead Captain of the Guard for the 501st Legion. Jon’s primary costumes are a New Hope TIE fighter pilot and a black armor Republic Commando. Jon has appeared with the 501st at hundreds of troops as varied as Free Comic Book Day at his local comic shop to Lucasfilm official events. Jon is also a volunteer docent at Rancho Obi-Wan, the world’s largest private collection of Star Wars memorabilia, located in Petaluma. Jon holds a BA in Theatre and has extensive post-graduate training in physical performance at the Dell ‘Arte International School of Physical Theatre in Blue Lake. In addition to teaching, Jon has worked locally as a professional actor both in theatre (Impact Theatre, Broken Buddha Productions) and film (Two Trick Pony Productions). Jon lives in Albany with his wife, Melissa (also a member of the 501st) and his two children, Jacob and Marian. All roads lead to porg.
