Freelance commercial illustrator Lela Dowling has worked in comics, done book illustration, fantasy fine art prints & portfolios for Schanes & Schanes, cartooning for Bee Culture magazine and editorial cartoons for newspapers. She has also done 2D animation for LucasArts Maniac Mansion, Day of the tentacle and Sam and Max Hit the Road games, character design for Big Ape Entertainment’s Celebrity Death Match game, and avatar design for Yahoo!’s instant messaging service. Her Eclipse Comics projects, ‘FUSION’, ‘The Weasel Patrol’ and ‘Alice’ (from ‘The Dreamery’) have recently been compiled and republished by About Comics and may be found on Amazon.com. She lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains with her husband, artist Frank Cirocco, and works primarily on Reader Bee educational software projects for Learning Circle Kids.
