Alexandria Maricich

Alexandra Maricich was born in Sun Valley, Idaho and began her dance training at Footlight Dance Center. She studied at Cornish College of the Arts, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, ImPlusTanz: Vienna International Dance Festival, and has attended several Gaga intensives around the world. Currently, she is living in Oakland, CA attending SFSU’s pre-nursing program in hopes to blend dance and health. Alexandra’s research encompasses mess, sexuality, cloying and nasty, learning via embodiment and the vitality of contextual feedback. She has had the pleasure of working with Stephanie Hewett, Hers & Hers, Maligrad Contemporary Dance Company and sound artist, Ryan P. Jobes, in the Bay Area. She also works as a teaching artist with Alonzo King Lines.
