Dr. Tom Archie

Dr. Tom Archie runs, InnerHealth MD, a full-time direct primary care private practice rooted in functional medicine and acupuncture in Ketchum. Always a pragmatist, Tom listens carefully to his patients’ stories and looks for clues to form a plan that might include pharmaceutical medicine, Chinese herbs, acupuncture, lifestyle changes in nutrition, exercise, and stress relief, Class IV Cold Laser, or specialty referral.

Tom believes that understanding is essential for transformation. He loves to teach patients individually and in groups. His wife, Dr. Heidi Woog, is an integrative veterinarian and acupuncturist with a similar style of practice, and they often find themselves teaching each other.

Tom trained at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency Program, the University of California in Los Angeles Helms Acupuncture Program, and Institute for Functional Medicine. He is a hospitalist on active staff at St Luke’s in Ketchum.
