George Takei, an actor best known for his portrayal of Mr. Sulu in the acclaimed television and film series Star Trek, has more than 40 feature films and hundreds of television guest-starring roles to his credit.
To Be Takei, a documentary on George's life and career directed by Jennifer M. Kroot that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2014, will be released theatrically in summer 2014.
George is host of Takei's Take, a YouTube series produced by AARP that explores the world of technology, trends, current events and pop culture.
