Appearing CANCELLED

LOUISE JAMESON made her debut on Doctor Who as Leela on January 1, 1977. In her first season, the final 14 episodes of Season 14, comprise three of the all-time classic Doctor Who stories: “The Face of Evil,” “Robots of Death” and “The Talons of Weng-Chiang.” She was asked by incoming producer Graham Williams to stick around for another year, during which she appeared in standouts like “Horror of Fang Rock,” “Image of the Fendahl,” “The Invasion of Time” and her personal favorite, “The Sun Makers.” Her numerous television credits include a staggering 210-episode run on Eastenders as Rosa, five episodes of Doc Martin, 35 episodes of Bergerac, the 10-episode series The Omega Factor as Dr. Anne Reynolds, plus roles in Z Cars, Space: 1999, Casualty, The Upper Hand, The Bill, Holby City, The Doctors, and more. In 1981 she took on the role of Blanche Simmons in what turned out to be her favorite television job ever, the World War II drama Tenko. Her first love remains theater, though, and her extensive resume includes Agatha Christie’s The Moustrap, Love, Loss and What I Wore, Noises Off, Agatha Christie’s A Murder is Announced, My Gay Best Friend (co-written by Louise and co-star Nigel Fairs), Shakespeare’s Mistress, We’ll Always Have Paris, Arsenic and Old Lace, Bedroom Farce with Colin Baker, Love Letters (also with Colin Baker) and many others.
