Everyone has a favorite animated Disney film. And for diehard fans, it can be hard to choose just one. In this panel, I and a whole slew of Disney fans (who have spoken successfully at the last 2 Denver Comic-Cons), will work with the audience to finally determine the best animated Disney movie of all time. Here's how it works. We'll start off with 32 animated Disney films and like March Madness, we'll pit them against each other, bracket-style. The panelists and audience will discuss each pairing briefly, weighing the merits of each film and determining what one has that the other lacks. We'll discuss the strength of its characters, writing, music, influences on the year it came out and what sort of lasting impact it has had on Disney fans and the world of entertainment at large. Then, the panelists and audience will vote until we narrow it down, pair by pair to the winner. This type of audience participation panel will be a collaborative and educational look at perspectives and historical legacy through the lens of Disney animated films.
