In this panel, we will take a stab at figuring out what it is, specifically, that defines British science fiction. What sets British science fiction apart from the science fiction of other English-speaking areas of the world? Why are some authors so much more popular in the UK than they are in Canada and the United States? Are British science fiction readers looking for something different than their North American counterparts? Also, how do the Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Irish science fiction traditions differ from the English science fiction tradition that has historically dominated what the rest of the world thinks of as "British" science fiction?

Big enough to hold an entire Muggle Quidditch match or a Swordsmanship workshop in.
Big enough to hold the Aurora Dinner Theatre and Aurora Awards Ceremony.
THAT BIG!
