Critiquing is a learned skill, and when done well will benefit both the writer whose work is discussed and those who are commenting. The session includes hands-on exercises including critiquing a badly-written story (by the workshop instructor) to practice on. Many people are frightened at the thought of sharing their work and having others discuss it, but this workshop removed the fear and shows you how much you can gain from the process, both as the writer and the critiquer.
This is the room for most of our hands-on workshops! With a tarp on the floor and tables placed to encourage crafting and collaboration, this is the place where things might just get messy. This room is also where the Costume Contest sign-in and pre-judging will happen,
