One of the biggest issues first-time indie devs run into is how to market their game successfully to reach a wide audience. In this talk, I'll discuss how small indie teams can narrow their focus to marketing initiatives that will take less time and see greater returns. I'll provide a framework for developing a marketing and outreach timeline and examples of successful low-effort marketing. Drawing on my experience working as a Marketing Producer for an indie publishing company, I'll talk about the do's and don't's of marketing an indie game to help you have the best launch you can!
