Steve Ditko, co-creator of Spider-Man, and Bruce Wechtenhiser (one of the world’s biggest Spider-Man fans) have something in common: they both were born and raised in Johnstown, PA (Bruce has lived there his whole life). Bruce has been collecting Spider-Man comic books and memorabilia for more than 50 years. His collection and his stories of collecting have been featured in various media over the past two years. Bruce’s emotional connection to the character is the hallmark of his collection.
