Lock picking is fun. It's also depicted in games, art, and media—usually incorrectly. Teaching people to pick locks informs them about the implied level of effort in media, shows them the actual correct way to pick locks, and informs people about physical security in ways they can implement in their lives. We teach ethical lock picking and offer hands-on instruction. Those who have already seen it are welcome to come and practice.
