A random dance play comes from the K-pop community and it typically consists of an open area in the center that allows people on all sides to enter. Songs will play in random order from any group and it is up to the people surrounding the dance area to jump in a dance when they hear a song that they know the dance. In this case, rather than k-pop songs, the random dance play will consist of songs from the five current generations of the Love Live franchise.
