The Bagh Nakh, or literal translation to "Tiger's Claw" is a fist mounted weapon originating in the Indian subcontinent. From Rajput assassins to wrestlers and nobility, this weapon was used all across Indian, spanning many social classes and professions. This class will explore the history of the weapon, its documented use and some fundamental of the use of the Bagh Nakh in striking and grappling. For these sections of the class we will discuss ideas on how this weapon was used for self defense, assassination scenarios and concepts of forced compliance and joint manipulation. At the end of the class those interested are welcome to apply techniques in a controlled-moderate sparring enviorment
