The blade derives its name from the Arabic word for "tiger”, reflecting the famous blade's sharpness and agility. This course reconstructs traditional swordplay techniques associated with the Nimcha, and the martial traditions of Northwest Africa . Drawing inspiration from stick and sword traditions prevalent in the Maghreb region of Northwest Africa (present day Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, and Tunisia). This course offers participants an immersive deep dive into the historical, cultural, and martial aspects of the Nimcha.
