Mythology and gods in fiction can lend not only real fabric to fictional worlds but play a key part in the storyline. (Why is the hero doing something so ridiculous?) You don't even have to draw from establish pantheons such as Greek or Norse mythos, but can create your own from the ground up. Authors from different genres will share their thoughts and their experiences with mythology and gods in their own works.
