What makes C2E2 of the coolest and best conventions on planet Earth? Besides being Chicago's home for the latest and greatest in all things pop culture - the answer is YOU! This is your show and for C2E2's historic 2024 we need your help to make it the biggest and best it can be! We're looking for original and creative programming, so if you think you've got what it takes, apply now to host a panel or screening at the show. Make sure it's kick ass though, as panel and screening slots are in high demand!
And when you’re putting together your panelists, keep in mind that we value fresh voices and diverse perspectives: if everyone on your panel looks and sounds just like you, you may want to rethink your approach. So set a couple reminders now and make sure your submissions are in early. You'll hear back from the team by early February with a decision on your submission - we know, the anticipation is killing you. In the meantime, the ReedPop team is just an email away. Deadline for applications will be Thursday February 1, 2024, at 5:00 PM Central Time.
Applicants will hear back about their submission by Thursday February 15, 2024.
Important Info:
- PLEASE check your SPAM/JUNK Folder for any communication from the Content Team regarding Panel applications. Emails will come from Growtix.
- Panel applications are not first-come, first-served. Take the time to submit your Panel Application. Make sure your Panel is unique and well thought out! Please keep in mind we highly value diversity of panelist and viewpoints.
- Email is the primary communication method between Panel Organizer and ReedPop.
- Submitting a Panel does not guarantee acceptance.
- Each Panel is (1) one hour in duration.
- Panel rooms come with standard AV setup of wired microphones, tv screen or projector screen. More information about AV setup will be provided to approved panels.
- Panels typically contain maximum (6) people per Panel. ReedPop does not supply Moderators, unless it has been discussed on a case-by-case basis with the Content Team. If your panel consists of more than (6) six total participants, please indicate that on your application.
- Approved Panels receive up to (6) six Panelist Badges. Panelist Badges are good for all (3) three days of the show.
- Complimentary badges are given to Panelists who don't already have another type of badge (Exhibitor, Artist Alley, Pro, etc.,) Sorry - we aren't able to provide badges for plus 1's and we don't pay for speaking fees, travel, lodging, or meals. Panelists can be changed out at any time. Once your Panelists are confirmed, please email panels@reedpop.com so we may get them attached to your Panel.
- ReedPop does not pay for Panelist lodging, transportation, meals, etc.
- Panels may be livestreamed and/or recorded for ReedPop purposes only.
- ReedPop will schedule your Panel based on availability and needs of the show. Panelists do not get to choose what day or time they present. Time and date preferences will be taken into account, but scheduling will be at ReedPop’s sole discretion. Please be advised that panel schedules may change. Organizers will be notified of required schedule changes.
- By submitting a Panel Application, the applicant agrees to the Terms of Service for Participation in the Event
ReedPop's mission is to create fun, welcoming, awesome events where fans of all kinds can come together and celebrate in an environment where EVERYONE is safe and accepted. Like everyone else at the show, ReedPop event speakers are subject to our harassment policy not only as fans, but also during event presentations. Per the policy, this includes the prohibition of offensive verbal comments in relation to, but not limited to, race, gender, gender identity, national origin, sexual orientation, age and appearance. If you feel your personal beliefs will prevent you from adhering to our policy, do not submit an application.
