Schedule Submission Form

All fields are required.

Ready to show off your pop culture expertise? Have amazing experiences or knowledge you that want to share? Looking to start some meaningful conversations with fellow fans? We want to hear from you!

Things to know before you apply:

Submissions for the February 2023 show are open until December 31st 2023. Submission is no guarantee of acceptance, as space is limited. Only those sessions chosen will be contacted, starting approximately one week after application close.

"Submission Description" field is what fans will see in the app and website, so you should describe what you intend to do or discuss in your session, and make it eye-catching for fans when they are perusing the schedule, like: "Friar Tuck and his merry band of scoundrels will demonstrate proper wandering techniques, how to sew a false pocket in your tunic, and the best Portland locations for finding and fashioning walking sticks."

"Anything else you think we should know!" field is where you should list details about yourself, your group or fellow panelists, including your experience in the topic. Please confirm availability with panelists prior to submitting. Please provide as much information as possible.

By contract, FAN EXPO guests cannot sit on submitted panels. EXCEPTION: Literary panels where you submit the topic, description, and agree to lead the discussion ("moderate"): If you submit a topic that we have guest authors with experience or books that fit the topic, we will contact and work with you to fill that "Authors" panel with speakers.

Content must be appropriate for fans of all ages.

Each session should be no more than 45 minutes in length.

Retail transactions inside panel rooms will not be permitted.

Panelists for all accepted sessions will receive a weekend badge. Maximum number of panelists - including moderator/discussion leader - is six (6).

Panel rooms come with a standard AV setup including a projector/screen and 3 - 4 microphones. No additional AV will be provided, so any presentation should be brought on your own laptop and backup flash drive. Other than connecting HDMI to your own laptop, panelists are not permitted to modify room AV.
